Schultz has over 16 years of professional campaign experience, serving as a campaign manager, field director and press secretary, and her overall campaign win/loss record is 13/3. She most notably served as one of four leaders of the national Draft Obama movement, which launched in 2006. Draft Obama launched the first TV ad of the 2008 Presidential campaign, 38 state-based Draft Obama groups, and numerous grassroots and earned media activities to galvanize supporters wishing for Barack Obama's bid for the Presidency. She's currently working as a Democratic campaign consultant in Concord, NH, where she resides with her boyfriend Gene and 8 year old Pug Frankie Roosevelt.
